Stéphane Bouchard, our main consultant, assures us that in Quebec, psychologists are trained to practice as soon as they graduate. New and established psychologists are welcome on the platform.

Stéphane Bouchard holds the Canada Research Chair in Clinical Cyberpsychology, is a regular professor at UQO and regular researcher at CISSS Outaouais. He has been advising Meetual since its inception.

You do not have to spend on promotion or marketing, Meetual will provide the clientele. The greater your availability is on the platform, the larger number of consultations you can benefit from.

It is not necessary to have already practiced online therapy to apply. However, it is preferable to be comfortable with new techology. The platform’s psychologists can practice with friends or relatives before their first consultation.

We accept all therapeutic approaches to offer clients a variety of options, depending on their needs. Studies, as well as our experience with the platform since 2016, indicate that the humanist and cognitive-behavioral approaches work well with online customers.

Psychologists are paid via Interac transfer every first of the month.

Meetual psychologists and psychotherapists are hired as freelancers (self-employed). The details of the professional agreement are elaborated in a contract between the two parties.

Before your first consultation, all necessary details with regards to technical requirements will be provided, as well as training to ensure you get the most out of the platform. Should a technical problem occur, you can contact us to remedy the situation.
